Heaven’s Doors: Wider Than You Ever Believed!

What happens to us after we die?

For the first 500 years after Christ, most Christians believed that God would ultimately redeem all of his creation. Hell was real, but it had a positive purpose, and it didn’t last forever.

Then beliefs changed.

How Wide Are Heaven’s Doors? The Biblical Case for Ultimate Restoration

This short book is designed to introduce people to the evidence from Church history and the teaching of the Bible showing that God will one day restore all of His creation to the perfection He intended. Hell is real, but it is temporary in its duration and remedial in its nature.

Included Topics

  • During the last 40 years, the values of our American society have strayed further and further away from Biblical standards, while the efforts by Christians to impact the society have been generally ineffective. We have Mega-churches with thousands of attendees, large ministries with multi-million dollar budgets, seminars, crusades, concerts and large arena events with wonderful preachers, teachers, and entertainers. But, all the indicators in the society about values have moved in the wrong direction.

This address looks at the causes of why this situation has occurred, and how Christians hold the key to successfully impacting the culture so that the world will be changed.

  • Every Christian homeschooling family knows that the Bible is their most important "textbook.” But, sometimes, we take it for granted. In this session, George Sarris will explain some of the unique aspects of this book that clearly stamp it as God's Word.

  • Is home schooling a radical departure from the way things have always been? Is it the "new kid on the block" that will soon fade away like other fads?

This presentation is designed to give fathers the "big picture" by showing that government schooling is really the radical departure from how education has historically been viewed, and then explaining 4 reasons why an increasing number of families today are choosing to educate their children at home.

  • In most homeschooling families, everyone knows what the wife's responsibilities are to be - she is generally the primary teacher. But, what about the dad? What's he supposed to do?

This workshop is designed to give practical guidelines on how fathers can take an active role in their families' home education program as a Principal, Guidance Counselor and Tutor.

  • Why do so many Christian families fail to pass on a vibrant faith to their children? This presentation is designed to help make Christian families alert to forces that are trying to steal the hearts of their children away from the Lord. And, it gives parents practical guidelines for establishing a workable plan for communicating their values and a knowledge of God's Word to their children.

  • How will your children learn how to interact with others if you teach them at home? Will they become misfits in society? Is a decision to homeschool depriving them of a vitally important opportunity to learn how to fit in socially with others?

This workshop looks critically at one of the most often asked questions about homeschooling. It discusses the goal of socialization, and shows why home schools provide the best way to socialize children.

  • As children, our faith is generally that of our parents. But, as we get older, our faith needs to be our own. How can we know that God is real?

This workshop, for teens and adults, looks at some of the reasons from philosophy and science that help us know that God is real and His Word is true.

  • One of the most often presented challenges to a belief in God, and one that has been the determining factor for many people who have lost their childhood faith and turned away from Him, relates to the existence of pain and suffering in the world. If God is good, and God is sovereign, why is there so much pain and suffering?

This workshop, for teens and adults, seeks to present clear answers to this perplexing problem.

  • Issues relating to dating, romance and the quest for true love are on the minds of teens and parents alike.

This workshop will look at the dangers of dating, and seek to understand God's perspective on the second most important decision we will ever make - finding the right life partner.

  • Does God want me to be a missionary? Does He want me to be a millionaire?

This workshop looks at essential principles for viewing life from God's perspective, and gives suggestions for how we can best prepare for the life calling that God has uniquely designed for each of us.

  • How do we know when we should "trust God" for specific provisions? Are there Biblical guidelines that can help us understand when God will or will not provide the things we request?

Waiting on the Lord is not an exercise where we try to twist God's arm so we can get Him to do what we want Him to do; rather, it is seeking to learn what God wants to do, and cooperating with Him in getting it accomplished.

This workshop will look at Biblical principles that will help us discern God's will for our provisions.

  • Does drama have a legitimate place in the Church? How can it be used to bring the actual text of Scripture to life?

This workshop will share some of the dramatic techniques he uses to make the words of the Bible leap off the page and into the hearts of children and adults alike.
